Nic's Mega Mid South Race Report
Mega Mid South is an grueling, unsupported race around the perimeter of previous Mid South routes in Oklahoma. It's 300 miles of B-roads and almost 17,000 feet of climbing. Needless to say, not only is it a test of one's bike, it is also a test of one's mettle. Nic finished the whole event placing a magnificent 25th out of 150 on our new Chessie aluminum alloy bike! All the while taking great photos and videos (which will culminate in a longer video later).
He wrote a fantastic article on Bikepacking.com about his adventure and took some amazing pictures. It's a long one, so grab a snack and your favorite beverage. I had a piping hot cup of half-caf with a dab of pumpkin spice.
Evergreen Gravel Racing Ride through Capitol Forest
Mark your calendars for a super fun ride hosted by Ben of Evergreen Gravel Racing and our Nic through the stunning Capitol Forest in Washington state. It will be 35ish miles and 3,500ish feet of climbing. The weather promises to make no promises, and as such it could be a beautiful, crisp, sunny Fall day or it could be pouring rain. Either way, we ride!
2024 ATW Builds Showcase at Peabody Heights Brewery
On October 12th at noon, our friends at ATW Builds and Peabody Heights Brewery in Baltimore, Maryland are hosting another showcase of gorgeous customs, track bikes, offerings from local makers, a gravel rat race, and an afterparty when the sun goes down. And the best part? It's free!
We'll be there showing some new stuff, slinging stickers, peddling our swag, and chatting it up. Be sure to check out last year's event. It was a blast.
