We call this the Milan bar because it's a great bar for converting an old Italian racing frame with a short top tube. Actually, it's great for converting any frame with a short top tube into a city bike. Folks who like a more aggressive position on a city bike will like it, too.

The width is about 57cm and reach is 11cm; there is around 25mm (one inch) of rise. The grips sweep back about 35 degrees, and the grip area is about 17cm long. The bulge is 25.4mm. The material is polished aluminum alloy.

Milan bars work with regular MTB (22.2mm) grips, brakes, shifters, 22.2 inverse brake levers, etc., but not bar-ends.

Specs:

  • Stem Clamp: 25.4mm
  • Grip: 22.2mm
  • Rise: 25mm
  • Reach: 110mm
  • Sweep: 35deg
  • Grip Length: 170mm
  • Width: 570mm
  • Weight: 260g

Great for old road bikes

These look great and are super comfortable ... perfect for converting old road bike. They put you in a more upright position without bringing the bars in too close to your body--just right.

Sporty and practical

Love these bars for my road bike conversion. Just enough rise and sweep to give a more upright and comfortable ride.

Milan bars

These make my 80’s Topanga into the perfect commuter bike. They’re the perfect angle for a comfortable ride. I look forward to riding to work every morning now

My favorite bars

(The bars in the pictures have about 2" cut off)
I have tried so many different styles and I always come back to these. I like to ride with my hands in the middle, but it's also nice to use the rest of the bar for a more relaxed position. Couples with the Dia Compe Inverse levers; I'm in love.

Alt Bar

Swapped out the stock bars on my L train. I was looking for something with a little rise and a bit more sweep. These bars are perfect. I have a little more comfort while still in a partially aggressive position. They look fantastic and add a little flair the the already stylish bike. Quality product and an easy order process.
