These classic facetted-style aluminum fenders are based on an old French design. They have a simple, yet elegant pattern that's lovely on both classic and modern bikes. They're 45mm wide, designed for 700c and 27" wheels, and work with tires up to 35mm wide. We include a hardware kit to work with almost any type of mounting in the same finish as the fenders.

  • Fenders are made from aluminum alloy for strength while staying lightweight
  • Rear fender is 120cm long and the front is 90cm long
  • Both come pre-drilled for stays. Front is pre-drilled for a fork crown mount
  • Hardware kit includes: 5mm polished aluminum stays, R-clips and screws, L bracket, reinforcement plates, stay-to-fender closed eyelet bolts, fork crown daruma, sliding bracket, leather washers, and detailed installation instructions

Velo Orange fenders are designed to be full coverage, which means that you and your bike's drivetrain will stay clean of road muck and grime. Both front and rear fenders have full wrap around the width of your tires to eliminate spray in all directions.

Please note: We include most if not all of the hardware you need for the installation of our fenders on the vast majority of bikes, but in that the kit is as universal as possible, you may need one or two bits of hardware for your particular build. Watch this video and read the instructions to make sure your frame and fork has the correct mounts and hardware needed. If you need additional hardware, check out this page.

700c Facetted Fenders (Mudguards) 45mm

Hello, sorry I've been so long in getting back about the fenders but I was waiting for the nights to start drawing in so that I could see how much the shine off them adding to my from dynamo light.
I think these mudguards are smashing, they look really cool in going nicely with my Trek 700 hybrid, they've proved themselves very sturdy and tough after coming out unscathed after all the times my bike has fallen over, and yes, there is a big lot of shine off them from the dynamo so making me that more visible at night.

Bought a pair for a mixte restoration for a special lady friend. Liked them so much, I bought a second pair for a porteur restoration for moi! Thanks for offering such fantastic products. Ciao!

First time fitting fenders, very pleased

Recently restored a Centurion ProTour 15 with 27x1 1/4 tires, and expect to use it mostly as a practical in-town bike, so fenders felt like a good plan. These were on sale, so I decided to give it a go. The fit is tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it, you can dial it in pretty cleanly. Seems to me the trick to final positioning is to hold the fender where the stays attach firmly in the right position, making sure the stays moved in the clamps to the frame, then tighten those down. Super happy wiht the look and they're surprisingly quiet on bumpy roads.

The bike as pictured is also wearing a VO touring saddle, pedals, and half clips.

Just The Right Lines

The lines on these fenders complement those of my classic twin-tube mixte frame.

I also installed Porteur bars on that same bike. Now it has a kind of modern Art Deco vibe.
